Indicados ao Billboard Music Awards 2016

O Billboard Music Awards 2016 acontecerá no dia 22 de maio e teve sua longa lista de indicados divulgada hoje. O evento será apresentado por Ludacris e Ciara diretamente de Las Vegas.

A premiação é baseada nas músicas de mais sucesso nas paradas.

O campeão de indicações é The Weeknd, que conseguiu o incrível feito de 19 indicações em 16 categorias. Em seguida vem Justin Bieber, com 12 indicações em 11 categorias, Drake e Fatty Wap, com 11 indicações em 10 categorias, Taylor Swift e Adele, com oito indicações cada, e Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth, com seis indicações cada.

Justin pode bater os seguintes recordes:

• Justin Bieber pode ultrapassar  Garth Brooks, que é o atual maior vencedor masculino da premiação, caso leve seis ou mais troféus para casa este ano.
• Se ele levar mais que oito troféus, tem a chance de bater Taylor Swift como a maior vencedora da premiação. Mas isso depende da própria não levar nada este ano.
• Se ele vencer Melhor Artista Masculino, será o único a ter ganho o prêmio duas vezes.
• Desde que a categoria “Melhor Artista (Redes Sociais)” foi criada, Justin foi o único a vencer. Ele pode continuar sua dominação na categoria e aumentar a dificuldade de alguém bater seu recorde um dia.
